It's not until the blood stops dripping,
Across my eyes,
That I realize the damage,
I have become.

I'm searching for something beautifull,
Which I suppose is why I tickle my fancies,
With trying to make strings speak for themselves,
Or at least evoke the emotion with which I push them.
But alas, even the strings wish not to follow my path,
In all the interest of being something they're not,
They stand strong as just what they are.
Something I can seem not to do.
So they play low and hollow,
Not crying, more so singing and moaning,
To the bright night sky,
So feverishly pelted with diamonds in the night.
They can only moan so long before they are discouraged,
Blemished and abused before they are disregarded.
Oh but I moan,
Well into the night.
Never tiring as my brain twists it's reality,
Into that which like my strings,
Discourages, shows my blemishes, and breaks me.
Oh down so far as to be open,
Just a cacaphony of horrendous sounds,
If only to some day capture that,
And blend them into a vision,
A vision of life.
Oh some day,
To live.
